Meg Stuart is one of the most outstanding choreographers of the last 15 years. Since she burst onto the scene at the 1994 Klapstuk Festival in Leuven, she has travelled a highly individual choreographic route with formidable powers of expression. Blessed is another of her productions that will not leave the spectator unmoved. 
In his article Blessed, Meg Stuart’s Relentless Compassion, Hugo Haeghens offers his interpretation of this piece and disentangles its oppressive and disquieting but universal themes.
